On Wednesday, Rice and the public relations chief for the Bush administration, Karen Hughes, held a “Private Sector Summit on Public Diplomacy.” Sponsored by the State Department and the Public Relations Coalition, the summit was held with 150 top public relations professionals and State Department officials “to identify clear action steps the private sector can take to support U.S. public diplomacy.”

It’s ready. My blog seems to have survived the upgrade, and both of my plugins (Blogroll Autolinker and Valid Elements Fixer) seem to work fine. I think Blogroll Autolinker uses a function which is now deprecated, so at some point I’ll update it to use the new cooler 2.1 function.

And here’s another WordPress plugin, Valid Elements Fixer! This one is trivial: it makes the WYSIWYG editor allow b and i tags instead of replacing them with strong and em.

It’s a simple but hopefully useful plugin that finds names from your blogroll in your posts and pages and turns them into links for you.
